How can we help you?
Which types of company can benefit from lunch vouchers?
All businesses with one employee or more can benefit from them irrespective of their size or business sector. All your company’s employees can have access to lunch vouchers. It’s a motivation solution that’s effective from the first employee and that pleases everyone, at every level of the business.
Should I control the daily spending limit for consumers?
No, this control is done directly and automatically by Pluxee. If a consumer tries to exceed their daily limit, the transaction will be rejected. Depending on the terminal, it may indicate "insufficient balance" as the reason.
What's the difference between a classic Pluxee card and a virtual Pluxee card?
The “classic” Pluxee card works like a physical bank card, and can be used for contactless and mobile payments.
The virtual card is designed exclusively for mobile payments via Apple Pay or Google Pay. As with the physical card, you can pay in store or online with your lunch and gift vouchers and view your balance and transactions in the mobile application. Whether you opt for a virtual card contract, a physical card contract or both, our sales team will be happy to advise you!

How many lunch vouchers may be allocated to a part-time employee?
An employee may legally be entitled to one lunch voucher per day of work if he or she has worked for at least four hours during the day. In many companies the allocation of lunch vouchers is in proportion to the number of hours worked as a percentage of full-time. This decision remains at the sole discretion of the employer.
How many Lunch vouchers can be distributed per person?
The Grand Ducal Regulation of 29 December 1986 allows one lunch voucher to be granted for every day actually worked.
In practice, and with a view to administrative simplification, it is agreed to allocate a flat number of vouchers per month and per person in accordance with the following calculation:
52 weeks x 5 working days
= 260 working days
- 26 days leave
- 11 public holidays
- 5 fixed compensation days off
= 218 lunch vouchers per year
or 18 lunch vouchers per month x 12 months

Pluxee Gift vouchers: standard or specific values?
All denominations are possible, between €10 and €125, and a single envelope may contain Gift vouchers of different values. So you can compose your envelope depending on your budget and the event. Nonetheless, we advise you to choose small denominations, which are more easily negotiable at merchant outlets. For example: 5 vouchers of €25, rather than one of €125! In this way the beneficiary can use its Gift vouchers in several shops and have more flexibility of use.
My cards/PINs have not been delivered as yet. What must I do?
First, please check the delivery date indicated on your order confirmation. In case of a delivery delay, please contact our Customer Care Team to assist by phone at (+352) 28 76 15 00 from Monday to Friday from 8am to noon and from 1pm to 5pm or by email on orders.lu@pluxeegroup.com.
What is the maximum face value of Lunch vouchers?
The maximum amount deductible is €15. This amount was set by the Grand Ducal Regulation of 25 September 2023 amending the Grand-Ducal regulation of 29 December 1986 implementing article 115, number 21 of the law on income tax. Pluxee can print Lunch vouchers with higher values, but in such case the difference is taxable as salary!
