Committing to a more respectful, inclusive and equitable world of work

May 20, 2025

At Pluxee, we believe in a more open and inclusive society. To achieve this, we all have a role to play, and we take ours very seriously. We want to give everyone the same opportunities to flourish in the workplace. That's why we are setting up partnerships and initiatives in line with our values.

Our part in building a fairer world is reflected in the commitments we make to our employees, customers and partners. In particular, labelling is one of the tools we use to support our efforts to promote social inclusion and equal opportunities.

Pluxee, signatory of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter

Since 2015, Pluxee Luxembourg has been a signatory of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter, a national commitment text that encourages organisations to undertake concrete actions within their organisation in favour of equality. In doing so, they undertake to promote diversity above and beyond their legal obligations.

Managing diversity within a company means first and foremost recognising that there are individual differences based on gender, age, ethnic or social origin, nationality, etc., and that these differences must be taken into account. Whatever the size of the organisation, it is essential that a diversity policy is integrated into management practices. In this way, it can maximise its chances of developing peacefully, both economically and socially.

Given the multicultural environment that prevails in Luxembourg, the issue of diversity in the workplace cannot be ignored. Pluxee is aware of this and, year after year, implements best practices and awareness-raising initiatives.

What is Pluxee doing to encourage diversity?

To promote positive diversity within its teams, Pluxee :

  • sets itself targets such as achieving more than 42% women in leadership positions by 2026 and beyond;
  • respects a culture of commitment, supported by concrete actions in favour of diversity, equity and inclusion for all, in order to attract and retain talent;
  • gives priority to diversity, particularly in the choice of suppliers, in order to offer equitable opportunities to all.

This year, several projects have already been carried out in this context. As part of Diversity Day, which took place on 15 May in Luxembourg, Pluxee, as a signatory to the Charter, organised a Diversity Lunch. This fun and tasty activity offered employees the chance to contribute to a ‘Spanish inn’ style meal. Each participant was invited to bring a dish from his or her country of origin or from a country he or she likes, for a moment of sharing and relaxation. The teams voted for the best speciality and took part in a quiz on diversity to round off this sharing activity.

In May, again in the run-up to Diversity Day, a collaborative workshop entitled the ‘Sexism Fresque’ was organised internally to explore the mechanisms of ordinary sexism and identify courses of action to be taken at both personal and professional levels. This initiative is part of our drive to build an increasingly inclusive, respectful and fair working environment.

One step further with IMS

Proud to be a member of the Diversity Charter, Pluxee wanted to go even further in its commitment to greater inclusion. The company became a member of IMS (Inspiring More Sustainability), a large network of companies committed to sustainable development in Luxembourg. This network promotes not only social well-being, but also responsible practices in terms of governance and the environment. Pluxee has not hesitated to seize this opportunity to participate in new and meaningful initiatives.

A winning strategy

According to the results of the recent Great Place to Work® survey, for which we received Best Workplace 2025 certification last April, 95% of our employees say they are treated fairly, regardless of gender. As the saying goes, change begins at home! So we're particularly proud to see that gender inclusiveness is an internal success story and that equal opportunities are a reality within our teams.
