Summer terraces not to be missed

Remember, from March 14th to April 4th, we invited you to vote for your favorite Luxembourg terrace, via the “Terrace of the year 2025” competition, relayed by 4 separate media: Luxemburger Wort, Contacto, Virgule and Luxembourg Time. As sponsor of the event, we followed the results very closely, and were pleasantly surprised to discover that several of the winners were part of our network. So you can enjoy their incomparable terraces while paying the bill with your Pluxee Lunch card!

Relaxed atmosphere and live music

Culture Bar (voted via Contacto in the Cafés and Bars category), Luxembourg City.

The terrace is an integral part of this bar in Clausen, right in the heart of the city. It features a stage where live bands play bossa nova, jazz and other musical styles. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The menu features tapas and simple brasserie dishes. A starter and main course menu is available on weekdays. 

Sounds like the South

Brasserie Vitamine (voted via Contacto, Restaurants category), Luxembourg City.

Brasserie Vitamine's lovely terrace at the back of the restaurant is a hidden treasure. This unpretentious, yet unmissable Luxembourg restaurant offers cuisine with Portuguese and Brazilian accents (specialty: Rodizio). The menu is renewed regularly and also offers suggestions.

Bohemian and romantic

Hostellerie du Grünewald (voted via Virgule, Leisure category), Luxembourg City.

Surrounded by vineyards and laid out on several levels, the Hostellerie du Grünewald's large terrace has it all. Enjoy your meal in the shade of the summer sun, or under the light of romantic garlands. Bohemian ambience guaranteed! Want to extend the evening? Sleep in the adjoining hotel to complete your experience.

Dogs friendly

Café Villa (voted via Luxembourg Times, Cafés and bars category), Luxembourg city.

When was the last time you had an aperitif alone with your faithful companion? If you can't remember, it's time to visit Café Villa. This “dog café” offers a wide range of drinks, cocktails, snacks, salads and burgers, as well as... food for our four-legged friends. The menu includes non-alcoholic cookies and beers for dogs! All of which can be enjoyed on a pretty, flower-filled terrace, in a relaxed, family atmosphere.

Breathtaking view of the Moselle

Restaurant Koeppchen (elected via Luxemburger Wort, Restaurants category), Wormeldange-haut.

In the commune of Grevenmacher, this historic and typical Luxembourg restaurant offers local specialties and wines, some of which are organic, with an impressive selection of Luxembourg Rieslings and Crémants. From May to September, take a breath of fresh air on the restaurant's terrace, which offers a splendid view of the Moselle valley and vineyards.

In the heart of the forest

Parc Le'h (elected via Virgule, Restaurants category), Dudelange.

On hot days, we can only recommend the cool terrace of Parc Le'h. This semi-gastronomic brasserie welcomes you to the edge of the forest, in an exceptional natural setting. On the shady terrace, birdsong replaces the hustle and bustle of the city, and sunlight dances with the leaves of the trees. The ideal place to spend a rejuvenating moment with your loved ones. 

Atmosphere and sharing

Nazar Luxembourg (elected via Luxembourg Times, Restaurants category), Kockelscheuer.

With its half-Mediterranean, half-modern decor, the Nazar's terrace will delight bar-restaurant fans, where you can eat, drink cocktails and party the night away. The atmosphere is one of mezze sharing and celebration. Experience it with colleagues, after a hard day's work, or with friends, simply to have a good time.

View of the vineyards

Hotel-Restaurant l'Ecluse (elected via Luxemburger Wort, Leisure category), Stadtbredimus

The terrace of the l'Ecluse restaurant exudes a calm and serenity that will immediately put you at ease. In a verdant setting overlooking the vineyards, come and sample some of our local specialities, or simply enjoy a drink from the comfortable armchairs in the outdoor lounge area. A gourmet and relaxing experience!

Pay your bill with your Pluxee Lunch card
